Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Shape Untangle (the “App”) handles information about its users. The App is published worldwide by Enterprise Lifeforce Platforms s.r.o. and distributed in the Russian Federation by IE Maksim Boyko (jointly referred to below as “we”, “us”, or “the publisher”).

1. Summary

Shape Untangle is a single-player puzzle game. We designed it to need as little personal data as possible:

• We do not ask you to register or sign in.
• We do not collect your name, address, phone number, or contacts.
• Game progress (current level, settings, language) is stored locally on your device.
• We may use third-party services (such as advertising and crash reporting) that collect limited technical data. These are described in section 4.

2. Data we process directly

The App itself does not transmit personal data to our servers. The only data the App writes is local game state on your device — for example, the level you reached, your selected language, and your sound and music settings. Removing the App from your device removes this data.

3. Data processed by the platform (Google Play / RuStore)

When you install or update the App, the store you used (Google Play or RuStore) processes data such as your account identifier, device model, country, and crash logs, according to their privacy policies. We receive only aggregated, anonymous statistics from these stores (for example, the number of installs in a country). We do not receive a list of individual users.

4. Third-party SDKs

To keep the game free, the App may include the following third-party software development kits (SDKs):

• Yandex Mobile Ads — shows in-game advertising in the RuStore build. Yandex Ads may collect advertising identifiers, IP address, device type, OS version, language, and limited usage events to deliver and measure ads. See the Yandex Mobile Ads privacy notice for full details.
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — collects anonymous crash reports if the App stops unexpectedly. Crash reports include device model, OS version, and a stack trace. They do not include game progress or any personal account data.
• RuStore Billing / Google Play Billing — handles in-app purchases (such as removing ads). Payment is processed entirely by the store; we never see your card details.

These services act as independent data controllers for the data they collect. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

5. Children

Shape Untangle is suitable for players of all ages and contains no chat, social features, or user-generated content. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through one of the third-party SDKs, please contact us and we will work with the relevant provider to address it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA under the GDPR, or the Russian Federation under Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, to object to certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the addresses below.

7. Data retention

Because the App stores progress only on your device, retention is fully under your control: uninstalling the App removes the data. Data held by third-party SDK providers is retained according to their own retention policies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes or when the law requires it. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will also be announced inside the App or on this website.
